Return and Refund Policy

This policy adheres to the requirements of the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 181 of 2018) and outlines the conditions under which you may return products purchased from www.marielouis.store.

1. General Return Conditions (14-Day Right of Withdrawal)

In accordance with the law, you have the right to request a return and refund for your purchase within 14 calendar days from the date you received your order, without needing to provide a reason.

Eligibility Criteria for 14-Day Returns

To be eligible for a return under the 14-day period, the item must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Time Limit: The return request must be initiated within 14 days of the delivery date.
  • Condition: The item must be in the exact same condition that you received it: unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.
  • Packaging: It must be in its original, sealed packaging, with all original tags, labels, and documentation intact.
  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide the original receipt or proof of purchase.

2. Returns for Faulty or Defective Items (30-Day Policy)

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or does not conform to the specifications advertised on the Site, you have the right to return or replace it within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery.

  • In this case, Marie Louis Store will cover the cost of collecting the defective item and delivering a replacement, or issue a full refund including the original shipping cost.
  • The item will be collected and inspected to confirm the manufacturing defect.

3. Non-Returnable Items (Exceptions)

For health, hygiene, and legal reasons, the following items are generally excluded from the 14-day return policy once opened or unsealed:

  • Personal care products, cosmetics, and beauty products.
  • Undergarments, swimwear, and intimate apparel.
  • Any product where the original hygiene seal or packaging has been broken, opened, or tampered with.
  • Items custom-made, personalized, or manufactured according to your specific requirements.
  • Perishable goods.

4. Return Shipping Fees and Costs

A. Customer Responsibility (14-Day Returns)

If you are returning an item under the 14-day Right of Withdrawal (i.e., you simply changed your mind or no longer want the product), you will be responsible for the costs associated with the return.

  • Return Shipping Cost: The cost of return shipping back to our facility will be deducted from your final refund amount.
  • Original Shipping Cost: The original shipping fee you paid when placing the order is non-refundable.

B. Company Responsibility (30-Day Faulty Returns)

If the item is returned due to a confirmed manufacturing defect, Marie Louis Store will cover all associated shipping costs (original and return).

5. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Send an email to marielouis@bisharaeg.com within the applicable 14-day or 30-day period.
  2. Provide Details: Include your Order Number, the Item(s) you wish to return, and the Reason for the Return (e.g., "Change of mind - 14-day" or "Defective Item - 30-day").
  3. Return Authorization: We will review your request and, if approved, provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and specific instructions for the return shipment (either a collection appointment via Aramex or a drop-off location).
  4. Package the Item: Securely package the item, including all original packaging, tags, and the RMA number.

6. Refunds Process

  • Inspection: Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria outlined in Section 1 or Section 2.
  • Approval/Rejection: We will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Processing Time: If approved, the refund will be processed within 14 calendar days from the date of acceptance of the returned item, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law.
  • Method: The refund will be issued back to your original payment method (e.g., credit card). If you paid by Cash on Delivery (COD), the refund will typically be issued via bank transfer or another agreed-upon method.
  • Deduction: For 14-day "change of mind" returns, the cost of the return shipment will be deducted from your final refund amount.

7. Exchanges

We primarily process returns for refunds. If you require a different size or item, we recommend initiating a return for the unwanted item (following the steps above) and placing a separate new order for the desired item.
